Today marks the official opening of the 2020 Summer Olympics in Japan.
The Olympic Games use sport to bring nations together, guided by the core values of excellence, friendship, and respect. Recently in Parliament I celebrated our very own Olympian - Lesley Ward who resides in Brampton-en-le-Morthen. She represented Great Britain on our diving team at the Olympic Games in 1992, 1996, and 2000.
