Local MP Alexander Stafford has joined the local community in celebrating the 1st Anniversary of new management at The Blue Bell in Harthill.
Although closed during the current lockdown, The Blue Bell remain right at the forefront of the community, with a Community Thank You Tree for local people to add their thanks to.
Alexander has encouraged people to add to the Thank You Tree with messages of support for our local pubs, and for people who have gone above and beyond throughout the lockdown.
Commenting, Alexander Stafford MP said:
“It is a great shame that the 1st anniversary of the new management at The Blue Bell will be spent in lockdown. I know that once the restrictions allow, the community will join me in celebrating their success.
I urge everyone in Harthill who is doing their daily exercise to stop by the Community Thank You Tree and leave a message of thanks and support.
I, like many of our residents, look forward to being able to visit our local pubs across Rother Valley once again”
