Rother Valley residents are set to receive important vaccination update from their local MP
Alexander Stafford, Member of Parliament for Rother Valley, will this week send to his constituents important information on the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Many households across the Rother Valley constituency will wake up to a leaflet in the coming days containing information about when they will become eligible for the vaccine, how they can book a COVID-19 test, the rigorous testing carried out on the vaccine before rollout and many other important details.
Alexander will also provide vital signposting information regarding support for Mental Health, Domestic Abuse and financial worries.
The leaflet will go out to homes at postcodes which fall entirely within the Rother Valley constituency, with homes falling on a boundary line invited to contact Alexander to request a free electronic copy, either via email [email protected] or telephone 01909 494952.
The leaflet is being distributed by Royal Mail in a Covid-secure way.
Commenting, Alexander said:
“I am so proud of the country’s vaccination effort – the biggest mass immunisation programme in British history – and I know that many of my constituents in Rother Valley are as keen as me to see the light at the end of the tunnel. This is it.
The pandemic is not over, but the vaccine gives us all hope, and I want to ensure that everyone has access to all the information and resources they need at this time.
As the local Member of Parliament for Rother Valley, I have a duty to ensure that my constituents are in the loop and, following the success of my leaflet one year ago containing advice on the lockdown, I wanted to contact as many people as possible about the vaccine.
