Alexander Stafford MP has thrown his support behind the Chancellor’s Summer Statement, which focusses on jobs and growth.
The Plan For Jobs includes a £1000 bonus to employers who bring employees off furlough, a kickstarter scheme to help young people into new jobs with up to £6,500 of support to employers for each new employee and a VAT cut.
The Chancellor has also announced the Eat-Out-To-Help-Out scheme, which will support pubs and restaurants across Rother Valley by giving a 50% reduction, up to £10 per head, on sit down meals and non-alcoholic drinks Monday-Wednesday.
