Today, I led a Discussion on the disability support available for people that are currently not in work and looking to start work.
This was a discussion to gain real insight from my constituents ahead of the publication of Health and Disability Green Paper, who will influence how we can make a positive change to people with disabilities in and out of the workplace. There were many interesting points raised throughout, thank you to all that attended and shared their views of the hardships they faced in giving up work, the support they have received since and the issues of communication.
