In March 2023, in my previous letter to Sir Keir, I said that if he was serious about combatting grooming gangs, he should also be serious about listening to survivors in Rotherham and remove all the councillors elected before 2016.
Nearly a year later and Labour's silence continues. Yet John Healey and Angela Rayner think it is okay to come to Rother Valley and have their photographs taken alongside councillors who stayed quiet while 1500+ young girls were raped.
I have news for them. It is not okay. And we won't stay silent.
