Alexander Stafford has criticised the bus services on offer in Rother Valley as inadequate, expensive, and unreliable.
Alexander has received countless complaints, invariably levelled against First Bus, who operate the majority of the services in the constituency. Alexander has spoken with ministers and the Government, and to local authorities and stakeholders about his, and residents, frustrations with the bus provision in the area.
Commenting, Alexander Stafford MP said:
Bus provision in Rother Valley is simply unfit for purpose. People often rely on these infrequent and unreliable services, that often don’t even turn up. It is a disgrace and I plan on taking the argument to First Bus to improve the shocking service that the hard-working people of Rother Valley are forced to use. I was elected to help my constituents and bus services are a common complaint I receive. It is vital that we have decent connectivity so that people can commute for work and to places of education.
